Buzick Construction has been building the backbone of American whiskey for generations—supporting many of the nation’s leading distilleries since 1937 and constructing its first rickhouse in 1941. Today, Buzick is widely recognized as one of the industry’s most trusted barrel-warehouse builders, delivering facilities designed for long-term maturation, operational safety, and scalable growth.
What sets Buzick apart is range and realism: they tailor warehouse solutions based on site constraints, climate considerations, operating preferences, and expansion plans—from small craft builds (2,016 barrels) to large-scale rickhouses supporting 40,000–58,800 barrels and multi-building campuses.
And they don’t stop at rickhouses. Buzick also designs and builds distilleries, visitor centers, tasting rooms, and bottling and manufacturing facilities, using an integrated design-build approach with in-house engineering to protect schedules, manage risk, and support performance at scale.
